Portsmouth will host npower Championship rivals Leicester in the Carling Cup third round.
Steve Cotterill`s side earned their place in the draw with a penalty shoot-out win over Crystal Palace, while Leicester booked their passage with a 2-1 win at Leeds.
The tie will be played in the week commencing September 20.
