Pompey Draw Either Brighton Or FCUM In FA Cup
A short trip down the coast or a long trip up north awaits in Round 3. Pompey have been drawn away to either Brighton & Hove Albion or FC United of Manchester in the third round of the FA Cup.The seagulls and FCUM drew 1-1 at the Withdean Stadium yesterday to set up a replay at Gigg Lane. The FC United 'keeper saved a stoppage time penalty to deny Gus Poyet's men victory at the death.The replay is likely to be screened on tele and will take place on Wednesday, 8th December.Personally I'd like to see us play Brighton as it's only a short journey to the Withdean Stadium and should make for a cracking cup tie. If FC United end up beating the Seagulls then there's a good chance that the tie may be on tele.The match is scheduled to be played on the 8th or 9th of January.
