Nikola Kalinic has been tipped to make an impact in the Premier League as he nears a move to Portsmouth. Paul Hart confirmed his interest in Kalinic earlier this week and the Croatian striker is now understood to have travelled to England to undergo a medical. He is valued at around 7million euros after a couple of impressive seasons with Hajduk Split, during which time he has scored 32 goals in 59 appearances. Compatriot Dado Prso, who started his career with Hajduk and later made his name at Rangers, believes Kalinic has made a good move. Prso admits that it may take some time for the 21-year-old to fulfil his potential but is convinced that he will take English football by storm at some stage. "For Nikola, England is the right country," Prso told Sportske novosti. "He will play in an extra strong league, which has been the best in the world until now - I think that Spain will be better next season. "Now everything is on Kalinic. He will get his chance to prove himself, but he is still young so he will probably need some time to settle into English football. "But he has a lot of time and also in Portsmouth they will need to take it easy with him. "I am sure that sooner or later he well show everybody that he can play in the Premier League."
