Storrie says a deal is unlikely to be agreed this month, but remains optimistic that a move could be rekindled in the summer.
'Patrick is someone we would be very keen to bring here,' he told Sky Sports.
'Obviously he is very well-known to Tony (Adams), but my understanding is he has got an injury and that won't be possible in this window.'
