Portsmouth manager Steve Cotterill felt his side deserved more than a point after a goalless draw with Ipswich in the Championship on Saturday.[LNB] Pompey have scored just once in their first five league games and although they produced an improved performance at Fratton Park, it was another frustrating afternoon for Cotterill's side.[LNB]He said: "We played very well for a team at the bottom of the league. We gave our all and there was some real decent performances out there.[LNB]"I think we deserved to win the game in the end and on another day the chances from Dave Kitson would have gone in.[LNB]"They had their chances but I still think we deserved to win in the end.[LNB]"I don't think it was a fair result I think we deserved a lot more than the point we got.[LNB]"The players have trained really hard over the last week and I think that it showed with some of the performances out there.[LNB]"They gave their all and that is all I can ask at the end of the day.[LNB]"They are a special bunch with a lot of character and heart and I think that it is only a matter of time before we get our first three points."[LNB]His opposite number Roy Keane disagreed with that summary and felt Ipswich could also have clinched victory.[LNB]He said: "It was not a bad result but I think our performance deserved more than the draw that we got. The best chance of the game by a long mile fell to Darren O'Dea but he was unfortunate to hit it over.[LNB]"If you want to progress in this league you have to put some of these draws into wins. We take the draw and the clean sheet and move on to the next game.[LNB]"I think that all the back four and the goalkeeper Marton Fulop deserved to keep a clean sheet.[LNB]"We drew 20 games last year and that was the reason we were down toward the bottom but if we change some of those draws into wins we will be right up there.[LNB]"We were under the cosh at the end of the game but we were resilient and got our point."
