Pompey boss laments missing winner

Portsmouth manager Steve Cotterill felt his side deserved more than a point after a goalless draw with Ipswich. Pompey have scored just once in their first five npower Championship games and although they produced an improved performance, it was another frustrating afternoon for Cotterill's side. He said: "We played very well for a team at the bottom of the league. We gave our all and there was some real decent performances out there. "I think we deserved to win the game in the end and on another day the chances from Dave Kitson would have gone in. "They had their chances but I still think we deserved to win in the end. I don't think it was a fair result I think we deserved a lot more than the point we got."
