O'Hara on course to face Chelsea
04 May 2010 - 11:36:12
On-loan midfielder Jamie O'Hara is confident of being fit for Portsmouth's final two games of the season, including the FA Cup final against Chelsea.
The 23-year-old has recently been sidelined by a back complaint, but is now back in training and desperate to finish the campaign on a high note.
He told The News: "I'm definitely getting there. I've had a couple of injections in the back just to settle the pain down and really make sure I can be ready for the Everton game and the FA Cup final.
"Unless I have a bad setback, I will definitely be right for the last two games."
Meanwhile, Richard Hughes is set to suffer Wembley heartbreak, having sustained a hamstring injury in the 3-1 win over Wolves at Fratton Park at the weekend.
The 30-year-old Scotland international is highly unlikely to feature again this term, with manager Avram Grant upset for his player.
He added: "I am sorry for Richard, because in the last two months he has been very good for us. It is a shame. He always gives 100 per cent."
