Nugent on promotion goal trail
David Nugent wants to stay on the goal trail and fire Portsmouth to Championship promotion at the end of this season.[LNB] Former England striker Nugent bundled in his fifth goal of the season against Doncaster on Saturday but could not prevent Pompey slipping to a 3-2 defeat.[LNB]However, the south-coast side remain just four points outside the play-off places following their recent upturn in form and head to Barnsley next weekend.[LNB]"I always want to score. I've got five now and I'm hoping to be in double figures by the end of the season," said Nugent.[LNB]"Now we've got to look forward to the next game. We'll go to Barnsley and hopefully get three points there."
