Notts Match Postponed

Waterlogged pitch unplayable.

Referee Tony Bates has postponed today's game with Notts County after two pitch inspections.

The first inspection took place at 12:30 with the pitch still deemed playable although the corners and goalmouths were a concern. Following a second pitch inspection at 1pm with the heavy rain continuing to fall, the playing surface was judged to be unplayable.

The fixture will be rearranged for a midweek evening and tickets will, of course, still remain valid.

There are sympathies for Jon Harley who won't get the chance to say goodbye before his contract expires but look on the bright side, at least Pompey didn't lose today!
