No new concerns for Hart
18 Feb 2009 - 12:27:39
Portsmouth's caretaker boss Paul Hart has no new injury concerns as he prepares for this weekend's vital Premier League game against Stoke City.
Hart guided Pompey to a crucial 2-0 win against Manchester City on Saturday, their first three-point haul in ten league matches.
As well as the team that played against Mark Hughes' side, Richard Hughes and Armand Traore are also making good progress from their respective groin and hip injuries.
A delighted Hart told the Portsmouth News: "There's no fresh injury news, which is good considering the match we have coming up.
"Richard (Hughes) got out and did a bit on Tuesday but isn't ready yet, while Armand (Traore) is getting better. Papa (Bouba Diop)'s still out, as is Jamie (Ashdown), but it's not too bad at all at the moment."
Meanwhile, Manuel Fernandes could be set for a return to Portsmouth.
The Valencia star has enjoyed loan spells with Pompey and Everton in the past and would welcome the chance to return to England.
Fernandes said: "I love the Premier League and I want to come back and play there."
