Nine Days To Save Portsmouth Football Club

Premier League reject plea to sell players outside the transfer window. The Premier League has rejected Pompey's plea to sell players outside of the transfer window, meaning that the club will now go bust if a new owner isn't found between now and the 1st of March.Pompey had hoped that Nadir Belhadj or Kevin-Prince Boateng could be sold for around £4 million to pay the February bills but now that option is unavailable and Peter Storrie is now charged with finding a buyer before doomsday arrives. And with reports in The Telegraph stating that the debt is worse than first feared (£70 million), the situation is looking bleaker than ever before. So, with this knowledge, I'm going to today's game with Stoke as if it is Portsmouth's last at Fratton Park. The result doesn't really matter now, I just want to see my club kept alive.
