Naughton blow for Pompey
Portsmouth have missed out on long-time target Kyle Naughton after Sven-Goran Eriksson made the Tottenham youngster his first signing for Leicester.
Pompey boss Steve Cotterill had hoped to boost his threadbare squad with the 21-year-old defender but he has instead moved to the Walkers Stadium on loan until January.
Youngster Joel Ward looks set to continue at right-back against Watford on Saturday although Cotterill is pursuing other targets.
