Lawro will sign permanently - Lampitt

Portsmouth have dismissed reports claiming Liam Lawrence could be snapped up by West Brom in January.[LNB] The winger is currently on an emergency loan deal from Stoke after his proposed permanent switch was not registered in time on transfer deadline day.[LNB]It has been suggested the Baggies could take advantage of that situation and offer Lawrence, 29, a quick return to the top flight.[LNB]But Pompey chief executive David Lampitt told the News: "Liam will be signing for us in January permanently, I can reassure the fans of that.[LNB]"He's our player, he's been first class - and long may that continue."
