Lampitt - More players to come

Portsmouth chief executive David Lampitt insists the club have not finished adding to their squad despite the transfer deadline passing. Cash-strapped Pompey are so short of players they have only been able to name four substitutes so far this season. And they came out of deadline day another man down after Tommy Smith, Marc Wilson and Marlon Pack left with Dave Kitson and Liam Lawrence joining. But boss Steve Cotterill can still sign free agents, while the emergency loan window re-opens next week. Lampitt told The News: "We've still got a couple of things on the agenda. They are not necessarily tied to the window. "We haven't finished and I'm sure Steve would say he is not finished shaping his squad. There are still some real gaps that we need to fill."
