South Korean starlet Ki Sung-yong has revealed he rejected an offer from Portsmouth in favour of a move to Celtic. The FC Seoul midfielder agreed terms with Celtic last week and is due to link up with his new team-mates in January at the end of the K-League season. Although it is a dream of Ki's to play in The Premier League, the 20 year-old feels he is too young for England and believes Celtic to be a better option at this point of his career. "There was an offer from a Premier League club, Portsmouth, but I think that Celtic are a better club and I think that I am not good enough to play in the Premier League yet," he said. "I will get more experience in Scotland and then see what happens. First, I have to adapt to a new life. "I think that Celtic are a good club for me because first of all, Celtic are a great club. "I think I will get a lot of chances to play and this is important for me because I need to play ahead of the World Cup next year."
