Portsmouth striker Nwankwo Kanu has set his sights on becoming the Premiership's leading scorer following his renaissance at Fratton Park.
The Nigerian arrived at the south coast club on a free transfer from West Bromwich Albion in the summer.
Last season he struck just six times for the Baggies, but after already notching seven goals for Pompey this term, the 31-year-old has set his sights on the Golden Boot.
"If I could be top scorer at the end of the season it would be very special for me and the team," he said.
"Can I do it? Everything is possible in football. I will keep working hard and try to get the goals.
"Hopefully we can finish in the top eight and that would be a great achievement."
