Kanu reveals Pompey snag

Striker Nwankwo Kanu has appealed to Portsmouth to offer him more than the current one-year contract currently on the table.
The 31-year-old Nigerian has yet to agree terms on a new deal to remain at Fratton Park for another season despite being out of contract this summer.
But Kanu has revealed he is stalling on putting pen to paper, as the scorer of last season's FA Cup Final winning goal believes he deserves more than an additional 12-month deal.
"The true situation is that I had my contract with me since January, but I have refused to put pen-to-paper just yet," he said.
"I don't want to put pen on something I believe is not what I deserve.
"I cannot sign for just one year when I have done so much for the club. Winning the FA Cup and playing well during the season should qualify me for more than a one-year extension.
"I believe for them to really appreciate my efforts with the team last season, they have to top it up with one more year.
"That's where we are now and we are still discussing."
