Portsmouth striker Nwankwo Kanu has dropped a shock hint that he may quit Fratton Park in January.
The Nigeria striker has been in lethal form this season and currently sits at the top of the Premiership scoring charts with nine goals.
Kanu arrived at the south coast club on a free transfer from West Bromwich Albion in the summer but has been linked with a transfer window move back to former club Ajax.
And the 30-year-old hitman told radio in his native Nigeria that he owes it to himself to consider any possible approaches.
"It's all about the money. If a better offer comes, I will take it," he is quoted as saying.
"I appreciate Portsmouth and their fans but I am just waiting for the January transfer window to come - let's see what will happen."
