England goalkeeper David James insists he is fit and well should Fabio Capello come calling ahead of Friday's Group C clash with Algeria.[LNB] Capello selected Robert Green in goal for The Three Lions' opener against USA ahead of the likes of James and Joe Hart.[LNB]England slipped to a disappointing 1-1 draw after Green's costly blunder allowed Clint Dempsey to equalise Steven Gerrard's opener.[LNB]Question marks have now been raised whether Capello will stand by Green for the Algeria match and James insists he is available for his country if needed.[LNB]Some speculated that James missed out against Bob Bradley's men as he was not 100%, something that James denies.[LNB]"I and fit and well," explained James. [LNB]There have also been reports at James' unhappiness at missing out against the USA after being an unused substitute in the past two World Cups.[LNB]However, the Portsmouth veteran insists he is a team player and has no qualms with Capello's selection policy.[LNB]"I don't have a problem with the selections. I am part of the squad," he continued.[LNB]"Rob hasn't been on the losing side in a qualifying or competitive match. There are seven games and 23 players."
