Injury worry for Davis

Paul Hart has revealed that Sean Davis is doubtful for Portsmouth's game against West Brom after suffering a knee injury.[LNB] The midfielder picked up the problem in training ahead of Saturday's goalless draw with Hull City and he played no part at the KC Stadium.[LNB]He is still experiencing discomfort as stitches were required in his knee, so Hart is unsure whether he will be able to figure in this weekend's key clash with the Baggies.[LNB]Hart is more upbeat about the fitness of Jermaine Pennant, who was an unused substitute against the Tigers after recovering from a calf problem.[LNB]"Sean got an injury in training and had to have stitches across his knee so it's very, very sore," Hart said in The News.[LNB]"It's improved a little bit but it is right across the knee so it's in a tricky place. He's been walking about with a straight leg.[LNB]"Jermaine will be back for West Brom but we'll have to see about Davis. [LNB]"With Jermaine, he had a calf strain so to ask him to do the 90 minutes may have been too much against Hull."[LNB]
