Portsmouth midfielder Richard Hughes has been given a two-match suspension following his red card in the Carling Cup defeat to Leicester. The 31-year-old was shown a straight red card after 66 minutes of Tuesday night's third round tie for using foul and abusive language towards referee Fred Graham. He will miss the home Championship matches against Leicester on Friday and Bristol City four days later.
