Hermann Hreidarsson is hoping a break in Dubai will help Portsmouth to survive in the Premier League this season. Pompey boss Paul Hart has taken his squad to the Middle East with the club not in action this weekend after being knocked out of the FA Cup. Hart has been praised for improving team spirit since replacing Tony Adams at Fratton Park and Hreidarsson believes the trip to Dubai will help the squad to bond even more. "It's nice for everyone to break up the season a little bit and it's good to have a change of scenery," Hreidarsson told the club's official website. "Also, we're all together 24/7 so it's a great chance for the team to bond even more. "It's important that we have good team spirit ahead of the final stage of the season and this trip will ensure that. "We've never been down though and the whole squad remain in high spirits. That's because we're all still confident that we will survive in the Premier League. "Since the new manager's been here we've looked better and we've also got points, so there's every reason to be confident."
