Hart - We could have won

Portsmouth boss Paul Hart struggled not to view the 0-0 draw with Hull City as two points lost in the battle for safety.[LNB] Pompey saw a gilt-edged chance for Younes Kaboul go begging before Hermann Hreidarsson struck the post with the final touch of the game.[LNB]The draw now places the club four points clear of the relegation places, although Hart felt that his side could easily have been heading back to the South Coast with a six-point cushion.[LNB]"We could have had three points but I think overall we've got to be satisfied with our play," conceded Hart.[LNB]"I think we earned it, but we could have had three."[LNB]DismissalA rare moment of drama in the game came late on when Glen Johnson picked up his second booking for a foul on the edge of the box, and Hart was aggrieved to have been forced to cope with ten men in the final stages of the game.[LNB]"I had a look at it and I can't see anything wrong to be honest," bemoaned Hart of the challenge that saw Johnson given his marching orders.[LNB]"I think when a player has had a booking some people try to manoeuvre things, but I think most of what Glen did - even his booking in the first half - was relatively innocuous."[LNB]International dutyJohnson seemed jaded throughout the afternoon, and many of his team-mates too struggled with the pace of the game, leading their manager to suggest that fatigue from the international break may have been to blame.[LNB]Hart added: "They travel all over the world - they get back and they're tired. We're not a club that can rotate and bring in a whole new team and we have to ask these players to perform."[LNB]
