Hart unfazed by Blues test

Paul Hart is relishing the prospect of locking horns with title-chasing Chelsea on Tuesday. The Pompey caretaker coach believes his side will enter the game with no fear as they look to secure vital points in their battle against the drop. Having stepped into the void created by Tony Adams' dismissal at Fratton Park, Hart has taken four points from his two matches in charge. With confidence now heading in the right direction once more, the former Nottingham Forest boss insists Chelsea will not be in for an easy ride when they arrive on the South Coast in midweek. Hart said: "Chelsea are very good. They have some world class players and we have to guard against that. "But it is not like we are going to go out there and start putting up the shutters. When we can play we will play. "You only have to look at last weekend's results to see some strange things can happen at this stage of the season. "Fixtures change, the weather changes and players get tired. Titles are won and lost at this time of the year. "I am sure Manchester United will be guarding against that. They are fully aware that upsets can happen. "Chelsea have got to try and catch them but we will be trying to play the way we know we can. If we do that we will be very difficult to beat. "We believe we can win football matches and as long as we are resilient and stay strong defensively we do not fear anyone." Hart's success since taking the reins at Fratton Park has led to calls for him to be awarded post on a full-time basis. However, the experienced coach insists resolving any issues regarding his future remains the last thing on his mind at present. "I am just getting on with the job, working hard with the players and concentrating on trying to win games," said Hart. "There have been no talks whatsoever and I have not asked for any meetings or discussions. "We (himself and Brian Kidd) are here to do a job and I am fully focused on that. I feel a little bit of focus may be lost if I start thinking about anything else."
