Hart thrilled with Ben-Haim capture
Portsmouth boss Paul Hart believes new signing Tal Ben-Haim will prove to be a shrewd acquisition.
The Israel defender has lost his way in the last two seasons after leaving Bolton for Chelsea, then moving to Manchester City.
Ben-Haim joined Pompey ahead of last week's transfer deadline and Hart is thrilled to have lured the 27-year-old to Fratton Park.
"I think Tal is a fantastic signing. He's a great player, has bags of experience and I'm really looking forward to working with him." Hart told The News.
"I'm not quite sure what has happened with him recently. I suppose sometimes a move doesn't always do the trick."
He added: "He wants to play football and get things back on track and he can do it here with this football club."
