Hart: Pompey must stay positive

Portsmouth manager Paul Hart maintains everyone at the club must stay positive, despite the continued off-field uncertainty. Pompey's ownership is expected to finally be resolved next week, amid concerns over Sulaiman Al Fahim's proposed takeover. It has emerged a new consortium led by executive chairman Peter Storrie is bidding to buy the club. "Until all that takes place, I am working on the basis I have been for a few months - which is not a lot," said Hart. "It has gone on far too long. "I was hoping the needed investment was going to take place, but it doesn`t seem to have worked out. It has been a long time doing nothing." Following the 4-1 defeat at Arsenal, Hart added: "We can dwell on bad things, bemoan our luck, or you can dust yourself down and get on with it. There is no point moping around and feeling sorry. "You can get on with it or walk away. I work for a good football club, with good people, but one which is just having a bad time. There has been no problem from the application in the players. While we have this kind of spirit, we can make progress."
