Portsmouth boss Paul Hart admits his side were disappointed not to take victory at Middlesbrough.[LNB] Pompey looked on course for three points as Peter Crouch volleyed the visitors ahead on the half-hour.[LNB]But in injury time Marlon King struck to deny Portsmouth all three points. [LNB]"I think there is an element of disappointment, but I have to give the players credit - you saw today the desire. I just thought it was immense and on any other day we might have got the three points," Hart told Sky Sports.[LNB]"We have set our stall out to stay in this division and whoever plays us is going to find it difficult, but we have had chances in every game.[LNB]"People are going to be bobbing in and out [of the bottom three], and I just want to make sure my players are in the right frame of mind and doing what is necessary.[LNB]"Sometimes in desperation to get a result you just try to hang on. We have shown our desire and our determination to stay in this division.[LNB]"I could quite easily have pushed somebody on. I could have opened up the game, so on that score I don't think you can blame the players but we decided to shore up and try to get a result.[LNB]"If you look at most of the game we had coped with everything and some of our performances were tremendous."[LNB]Hart was happy for Peter Crouch to grab his first goal of 2009.[LNB]"I think this could be very important for Peter. I have been delighted with his performances, he's thoroughly deserved that goal and he took it brilliantly," he said.[LNB]
