Harry issues return warning

Portsmouth manager Harry Redknapp has warned his players not to under-estimate Vitoria Guimaraes in the return leg despite taking a UEFA Cup first round first leg 2-0 advantage over the Portuguese side.

Lassana Diarra and Jermain Defoe were on the mark at Fratton Park, while the England striker also missed a penalty.

But Redknapp saw enough in Guimaraes' performance to suggest they will pose more of a threat to his side's chances of reaching the group stages when they are back on home soil.

He said: "We scored two good goals and played well against a very good technical side who showed in stretches what they can do.

"Their goalkeeper made some fantastic saves including the penalty and we could have had four or five.

"But we saw enough of them to believe they could be really dangerous at home. It will not be easy out there.

"They changed their system in the second half, pushing an extra man into midfield from the back and we couldn't get right on top of them."
