Futacs nets in Pompey victory

Marko Futacs and Greg Halford were on target as Portsmouth beat Russian side FC Rostov 2-0 in Wednesday night's charity friendly.[LNB] The match was held to raise funds for the families of the Lokomotiv Yaroslavl ice hockey team, who were tragically killed in last month's air crash.[LNB]Futacs broke the deadlock against the Russian Premier League side in the 74th minute when a clearance rebounded off the Hungarian striker and looped back into the net.[LNB]And defender Halford headed the second into an empty net moments later to complete the victory in front of 4,348 fans at Fratton Park.[LNB]Futacs, who recently joined Pompey from Werder Bremen, said: "I was very happy because it was the first time I had started a game in this stadium.[LNB]"It was perfect for me to score a goal in front of the fans, even though it was just in a friendly game."
