Championship sides Leicester and QPR are understood to have made enquiries over Portsmouth striker John Utaka.[LNB] The Nigerian international is thought to be set to leave the cash-strapped South Coast club due to Pompey being unable to afford his lucrative contract.[LNB]Sky Sports understands that Rangers and the Foxes are both interesting in taking the forward.[LNB]Utaka moved to Pompey in 2007 from Rennes for £7million, but has failed to live up to his price tag and has often been a bit-part player.[LNB]The 28-year-old is in the final year of his contract and manager Steve Cotterill is likely to be willing to cash in on the player to ease the club's wage bill.[LNB]Utaka has scored just seven goals in 66 games in his time at Fratton Park and it is unclear whether he will be leaving on loan or on a permanent basis.
