Harry Redknapp does not fear making a return to Villa Park on Sunday and says he won't be put off by the 'moron' who tried to blind him last year.[LNB]A section of the Aston Villa fans turned angrily on Redknapp back in December 2007 when his Portsmouth team came away with a convincing 3-1 win over Aston Villa.[LNB]Redknapp labelled the abuse 'filthy and abusive' and supporters refused to forgive his comments when he returned with Pompey last October.[LNB] Shocker: Redknapp helps Phil Sharp after the assistant referee had been hit on the head by a coin thrown from the crowd at Villa Park last year[LNB]One Villa fan took his action too far when he threw a 50p coin at Redknapp, but the coin ended up hitting referee's assistant Phil Sharp who was left with a cut forehead and needed treatment before being able to complete the game.[LNB]The supporter, John Billington, 43, of Great Barr, was fined £2,300 by local magistrates and given a five-year football banning order after Villa and police conducted a joint inquiry into the incident.[LNB][LNB]And despite the security being stepped up for Redknapp's return on Sunday, the Tottenham manager has no concerns over his own safety during the game.[LNB]Redknapp said: 'Some nutter threw a coin and it hit the linesman just above the eye. If it had hit his eye he would have lost his sight.[LNB] Harry's heroes: Portsmouth's Sulley Muntari (centre) celebrates his goal with (from left) Glen Johnson, Papa Bouba Diop and Pedro Mendes during Pompey's 3-1 win in December 2007[LNB]'He probably threw it at me for no reason whatsoever. The man is a moron and he should be banned for life. We don't need people like him in football.[LNB]'It has been a great ground for me. I went there with Portsmouth and murdered them 3-1. I think the fans got upset because we completely outplayed them.[LNB]'For some reason some of the fans couldn't take that they were getting beaten so easily at home and they decided to turn on me. It doesn't bother me in the slightest.'[LNB][LNB][LNB]
