Linvoy Primus will spend a 10th season at Portsmouth after agreeing a new one-year deal. Primus, who arrived at Fratton Park on a free transfer in July 2000 and is the longest-serving member of the squad, will see his duties expanded to an ambassadorial and advisory role. The 35-year-old defender will help guide emerging talent on the south coast. 'I'm going to be working with the younger players on and off the pitch,' he told the club's official website. 'I'm not going to be coaching them, I'm going to be more of an advisor, more of a mentor for them.
