Distin only looking up

Sylvain Distin admits he is trying not to think about Portsmouth going down.[LNB] The Pompey stopper insists that, although being relegated is a worry, he insists the club have enough quality to beat the drop.[LNB]Distin and Portsmouth face Middlesbrough on Saturday in a crucial Premier League clash, with both sides currently sat in the bottom three.[LNB]"Right now it would not be professional for me to think what if we went down, what am I going to do? Am I going to stay?" he told Sky Sports News. [LNB]"Of course it is in the back of my head, but I don't want to think about it as we have enough quality to stay up."[LNB]Distin revealed that under Tony Adams he struggled at times, but now under Paul Hart's regime he is again finding his form.[LNB]"Mentally I have been affected more than I thought, I haven't been focused and my mind hasn't been there," he said.[LNB]"I knew what the problem was and I just had to react as quickly as possible, am I back to my best? I don't know, I just have to do my best and that is the minimum I can do."[LNB]Hart himself insisted that Distin is back to his best, saying: "He has got back to basics and he looks awesome at the moment.[LNB]"He is a great leader on the pitch and I am delighted to see him back on song."[LNB]
