Dindane thrilled by FA Cup chance

Portsmouth's on-loan striker Aruna Dindane has spoken of his delight at being able to play in the FA Cup final after a frustrating month.[LNB] The 29-year-old striker marked his return to the Pompey side with both goals in the 2-2 draw against Bolton at the Reebok Stadium on Saturday.[LNB]Dindane got clearance this week to play in the remaining games, including the Wembley showpiece with Chelsea, after an agreement was reached with his parent club Lens.[LNB]He found himself out of the team after the semi-final victory against Tottenham as a further appearance would have triggered a fee - believed to be £4million - which Portsmouth can not afford.[LNB]But the French club relented and Dindane said: "It is a relief that I can play again. If you are a footballer then it is frustrating if a bit of paper stops you from doing your job.[LNB]"But now I am back. I can play and I am enjoying being out on the pitch again doing what I love.[LNB]"We tried to do the best we could against Bolton. It wasn't easy but we kept fighting and showed a lot of spirit.[LNB]"It has been a difficult season for Portsmouth but the fans have always been great. I am happy for them that we were able to come back."[LNB]Bolton were coasting with Ivan Klasnic making the breakthrough in the 26th minute following a cross from Jack Wilshere.[LNB]Then Kevin Davies added a second two minutes later after some skilful work on the wing from Vladimir Weiss.[LNB]Portsmouth, already banished to the second tier, responded with Dindane getting his brace thanks to good deliveries first from substitute Frederic Piquionne and then John Utaka.[LNB]"Dindane is already thinking about the final. I hope I can do the same again at Wembley," he told the club website.[LNB]"It is such an important game and everyone is excited about it. We know there's nothing we can do about dropping into the Championship but we can do something in the cup final.[LNB]"Every player will work hard to be ready for the final and in one game anything is possible. We'll go there looking to win and I'm confident that we can do that."[LNB]Bolton manager Owen Coyle, who arrived in January from Burnley, insists there is much work to be done to shape a side in his image.[LNB]He added three players to the squad, Jack Wilshere (Arsenal, loan) Vladimir Weiss ( Manchester City, loan) and former Houston Dynamo midfielder Stuart Holden.[LNB]Coyle said: "We came in and never spent a penny. We got a kid of 18 (Wilshere), a kid of 19 (Weiss) and Holden, three players who had never started a Premier League game.[LNB]"People may have thought I was off my head but I knew what I was looking to add to what I had and that's an on-going process.[LNB]Coyle has challenged his players to finish the season in style - they travel to Tottenham on Saturday then end the campaign at home to Birmingham.[LNB]He was left bewildered at the way his side collapsed in the second half and wants a reaction.[LNB]Coyle added: "We have two games left and I want to end our season unbeaten. Our next match against Tottenham is a tough one and we will work hard."
