Dindane staying positive

Portsmouth striker Aruna Dindane is convinced that once he opens his Premier League account the goals will keep flowing. The Ivory Coast international assured supporters last week there was still a lot more to come but he had another disappointing afternoon on Saturday as Pompey lost 2-1 at home to Tottenham. Dindane missed a couple of glorious chances and his only goal for the club remains the one he scored in the Carling Cup victory over Carlisle last month. However, the 28-year-old is satisfied with how he has adjusted to life in England following his loan switch from Lens and aims to repay the faith of manager Paul Hart. "I am happy to be here at Portsmouth, all the players here are friendly," Dindane told skysports.com. "I am still settling, but the manager has been great to me so far and I need to repay him with goals. "I missed two sitters on Saturday but it is the life of a striker, next time with a bit of luck and God's help I will be able to put them in the back of the net." Dindane is not too worried because he is still rediscovering his best form after a long spell without any action. He explained: "The positive thing is I am getting into good positions to score and I am finding my sharpness with each game as I did not play for a long time. "I am confident that once I score my first league goal, the rest will follow. "We have a good team, we have had chances in every game this season and the luck will return for sure."
