Dindane move still on - Andronikou
Portsmouth administrator Andrew Andronikou hopes Ivory Coast striker Aruna Dindane will finalise his transfer to Blackburn.[LNB] Dindane joined Pompey on loan from Lens at the start of the season but currently finds himself in limbo as two more appearances would trigger a £4million payment to his parent club.[LNB]Portsmouth's well-documented financial situation means they cannot afford to lose such money and Avram Grant has therefore not been able to select Dindane since the 4-1 defeat to Liverpool on March 15.[LNB]Blackburn are keen to sign the Ivory Coast international and Andronikou would like a deal to be struck that suits all parties.[LNB]"I understand that he had a medical last week and we are waiting to hear how that progresses," the Pompey administrator told Sky Sports News.[LNB]"If an agreement can be made between the two clubs, then that will also assist us in releasing him to play the rest of the season for us."[LNB]Meanwhile, Andronikou is also hoping that Gary O'Neil plays for Middlesbrough against Sheffield United this weekend.[LNB]Pompey are set to receive a £1million fee when their former player makes his 100th appearance for Boro, having left Fratton Park for The Riverside in 2007.[LNB]O'Neil was left out of the squad for Easter Monday's win at Plymouth Argyle but Boro have stated that they will honour all payments to Portsmouth and Andronikou hopes the matter will be resolved as soon as possible.[LNB]"I understand he has played 99 games for Middlesbrough. The 100th game will trigger a further payment to ourselves," Andronikou explained.[LNB]"Their CEO has come on record as saying they will pay that figure on his 100th appearance. We are all waiting for him to make that appearance."
