Portsmouth's new signing Aruna Dindane is looking to make the most of his chance to impress in the Premier League. The Ivory Coast international sealed a year-long loan switch to Fratton Park on Friday in what proved a busy day of transfer activity for manager Paul Hart. Hart completed four signings before the weekend with Jamie O'Hara, Kevin-Prince Boateng and Michael Brown all joining Dindane in linking up with the South Coast outfit. The 28-year-old is delighted to be in England's top-flight and insists he is looking to grasp the chance he has been given with both hands. Dream come true"It is a dream come true for me," he told skysports.com. "I'm so happy to be here in the best league in the world. "I have been given a chance. I need to grab it with both hands." Dindane is looking to make an immediate impact in England and believes being somewhat of an unknown quantity will only work in his favour. "I know I'm in a big league. That tells me I will face great defenders, week-in week-out, but we will see, the good thing is I'm unknown here," he continued. "Touch wood I'll stay fit and help Pompey stay in the Premier League. We are second-from-bottom, but I think we will get out very soon with the players we have."
