Crouch transfer inches closer

Peter Crouch's proposed transfer from Liverpool to Portsmouth has moved a step closer after the 27-year-old England international agreed personal terms with Harry Redknapp's side.
The two clubs have also agreed an undisclosed transfer fee for Crouch who scored 18 goals in 37 league appearances for Pompey in the 2001-02 campaign.
The former Aston Villa and Southampton star will have a medical at Fratton Park before completing the switch.
Crouch moved to Anfield from the Saints three summers ago in a £7million transfer.
In his second season at the club, he was top scorer with 18 goals and in total has scored 42 games for the Reds in 93 starts and 41 appearances from the substitute's bench.
He has also scored 14 goals in 28 England appearances, including a hat-trick against Jamaica in 2006.
