Croatian star Nikola Kalinic says he is looking forward to joining Portsmouth. The Hajduk Split striker looks set to complete a move to the South Coast following the sale of Peter Crouch to Tottenham. Kalinic, valued at £6million, is being lined up and he has revealed his excitement about his proposed switch which will see him link up with fellow countryman Niko Kranjcar. "My dream has come true. It is not yet finalised but, God willing, everything will be okay," he is quoted by The Sun. "Portsmouth is a big club and the Premier League is the best in the world. "Playing in Portsmouth would be a great challenge for me, an opportunity to prove myself and justify the faith shown in me, particularly by people like Paul Hart." Hajduk confirmed that a deal was in place with Portsmouth. "I am pleased with how the negotiations have gone, everything is now agreed," Hajduk president Mate Peros confirmed. Kalinic's agent Tomislav Erceg confirmed the player was on his way to England. "We are more or less agreed with Portsmouth, and now we are just awaiting confirmation," he stated.
