Cotterill frustrated with dropped points
Portsmouth manager Steve Cotterill believes his side should have beaten Millwall after coming from behind to draw 1-1 at Fratton Park.Liam Trotter handed the Londoners the lead midway through the first half and they were unfortunate not to increase their advantage before the break. However, Portsmouth were resurgent after the restart and deservedly equalised through David Nugent, albeit in fortuitous circumstances as he turned in Liam Lawrence's mishit shot. Pompey continued to press after levelling and Cotterill was frustrated his side failed to net a winner."I don't think it was a fair result," he said. "I think we've shaded it. I might be a bit biased mightn't I but I think we've done enough."We started the game brightly. I felt in the first 10 to 15 minutes we could have scored three goals before they scored. We didn't take our chances and one thing you don't want to do is go 1-0 down to Millwall."I've watched three games of theirs this week and when they get a goal up two banks of four normally sit in. This time, though, it was a bank of four and a bank of five and they were breaking with Trotter off [Steve] Morison. I think we created enough chances today to win that game. I do."
