Cott: Spirits are high

Portsmouth manager Steve Cotterill insists spirits remain high in the camp despite the well-publicised problems at Fratton Park. With Pompey in administration and under a transfer embargo, Cotterill has had to blood the club's youngsters and has been able to name just four substitutes in each of their games so far. But Cotterill and his players are revelling in their unusual circumstances. "We have a bit of banter flying back and forth, there's always a bit of banter," he said. "They're in good spirits. It's getting to be a healthy, happy and competitive environment. "I've been very lucky with the players I've been left with. I've said it before, we've got a good club, we've got some good players and some good professionals here."
