Just a day after he said he wanted to become a Portsmouth "great", goalkeeper Alex Cisak has been recalled by Oldham Athletic.
Paul Dickov made the decision after his number one goalkeeper Dean Bouzanis was sent off against Doncaster last night and is now banned for three games.
This decision could not have come at a worse time for Pompey as the loan window is now shut and the only goalkeeper available to Guy Whittingham is the hapless Simon Eastwood.
There may be a chance that pleas for an emergency loan will be heard by the Football League but as it currently stands, Pompey will travel to top-of-the-table Tranmere without the man who prevented a thrashing at Coventry on Saturday.
