Carling Cup draw: Portsmouth to face Stevenage in first round

Portsmouth, still in administration following their relegation from the Premier League and managerless after Avram Grant departed for West Ham, must travel to Broadhall Way to face opponents who could hardly have hoped for a better Carling Cup tie to open their first League Cup campaign.
