Joseph Cala has told Radio Solent that he still intends to buy Portsmouth Football Club.
Despite pulling out last Friday, the Italian businessman claims that his banker will now directly deal with Portpin Ltd as he attempts to "rescue" Pompey.
Unless he has found a group of extremely wealthy backers to stump up the £12 million needed as proof of funds, as well as the £20 million extra to pay off creditors and keep the club running, then this can only be more hot air coming out of the mouth of this White Knight wannabe.
Personally, I'd rather see Portsmouth FC go bust and start again than have this clown in charge to make matters even worse before the inevitable happens.
