Burnley step up their pursuit of on-loan wantaway Pompey striker Nugent

Burnley manager Owen Coyle is keen to speak to Avram Grant about David Nugent.Coyle wants clarification with the Portsmouth boss about the striker's situation.[LNB]It's there: David Nugent celebrates a Burnley goal [LNB]Nugent, 24, is on a six-month loan at Turf Moor and Burnley have an option to buy him or extend the loan.[LNB]However that arrangement was made when Paul Hart was Portsmouth manager and he has since  been sacked and replaced by Grant.[LNB]Nugent is available again on Saturday against Fulham after missing the defeat by his parent club last week.[LNB]Coyle said: 'We are not any further forward in terms of dialogue. We have an  agreement with Portsmouth but we have to see if anything has changed with Avram.[LNB]'We tried to have a chat last week but it was difficult. David obviously has a role to play as well in terms of shaping his own career.
