Change of scenery: Nugent[LNB]David Nugent has finally left Portsmouth - but only on a six-month loan deal at Burnley. [LNB]The striker has been out of favour at Fratton Park almost since he arrived for £6million from Preston two years ago. [LNB]But interest from Derby, Ipswich and Sunderland came to nothing as he managed just three goals in 34 Barclays Premier League appearances. [LNB]Yet as Portsmouth engaged in a frenzy of signings on Tuesday, one-cap England forward Nugent departed. [LNB]Burnley boss Owen Coyle said: 'We are delighted to have got a player of David's stature. Portsmouth paid £6m for him and I think we would recognise that it has been a bit stop-start for him and he wants to get his career up and running again. [LNB]'We have not had an abundance of strikers, so we have always been in the market and been looking to bolster that department. [LNB]'We have got someone with a fantastic pedigree and I'm sure he will be a tremendous acquisition for the squad.'
