Boss happy with defensive pairing

Portsmouth manager Steve Cotterill feels he has finally found his first-choice central defensive pairing. Skipper Aaron Mokoena cannot get back into the team at the moment with Ricardo Rocha and Greg Halford having kept three consecutive clean sheets to help Pompey move 10 points clear of the drop zone. "Dare I say it, we've got a little bit settled at the back," said Cotterill. "We've had about eight different central-defensive partnerships starting games before the current one. "Maybe the mix is better back there. It's not about the individual players, it's about the mix."
