Benson extends Pompey loan

Swindon striker Paul Benson has extended his loan spell with League One rivals Portsmouth for a further month.

The 33-year-old will remain at Fratton Park until Tuesday January 15 but will not be eligible to play against Town when the two teams meet at the County Ground on New Year's day. He has made four appearances during his loan with Portsmouth so far.
