Michael Ball's agent insists the player is focused on regaining his fitness rather than finding a new club. Former Everton and Rangers star Ball is still a free agent after leaving Manchester City upon the expiration of his contract in the summer. Portsmouth, ambitious Notts County and Turkish side Galatasaray have all been linked with a move for the left-back, who can still sign for a club outside the transfer window due to his free agent status. Ball's representative, Trevor Steven, revealed the full-back is working on regaining his fitness before considering offers. "There is nothing in the rumours at the minute as Michael is recovering from injury," Steven told skysports.com. "He had a knee operation in the summer and he is currently training at Manchester City to work on his fitness. "Everything is going to plan with his rehab and hopefully he will be ready to play within the next month. "He is not fit to play in the short-term and when he is ready we will see what offers come in."
