Arab answer to Alan Sugar buys Portsmouth but who's hired and who's fired? Sportsmail hosts an Appre

Portsmouth's new owner Sulaiman Al-Fahim stars in a reality TV show called The Hydra Executives, the United Arab Emirates' version of The Apprentice. We thought we would give the Middle East's very own Alan Sugar a helping hand in deciding who he's going to hire and fire at Fratton Park. Al-Fahim's catchphrase is 'impress me' and he clearly isn't short of a bob or two, so who should he try to keep? And who should he let go? YOU'RE HIRED! David James - Portsmouth should not be tempted to cash in on the 39-year-old - he's still England's No.1 and helped keep the club in the Premier League. Peter Crouch - Another England international Portsmouth must try to keep at Fratton Park. Glen Johnson - Has been linked with a £15m move to Liverpool but the Player of the Season is Pompey's key man. Niko Kranjcar - Another star man Al-Fahim must persuade to stay. Younes Kaboul - Just one year into a three-year contract and still a good prospect. David Nugent - The striker has two years left on his contract and Pompey are unlikely to get back the £6m they paid in 2007. Kanu - The Nigerian has an option of another year at Portsmouth and says it is 'likely' he will stay. Sylvain Distin - The versatile defender has a year left on his contract and 'expects' to be at Fratton Park next, although Bolton are lurking... Linvoy Primus - Portsmouth's longest-serving player will be rewarded with an ambassador role alongside his playing duties. He is 35, after all. Nadir Belhadj - The Algeria player only signed a permanent deal in January. Hayden Mullins - Another 2009 recruit, the 30-year-old looks set to stay at Fratton Park. Papa Bouba Diop - Has a year left, although injuries have interrupted his season. Richard Hughes - One of the few Portsmouth players tied to a contract and a long-serving servant at the club. YOU'RE FIRED! Paul Hart - He kept Pompey up but it was uninspiring stuff. A relative unknown won't get the big names flocking to Fratton Park, Al-Fahim might think Hart is better off back in the club's youth academy. Hermann Hreidarsson - Now 34 and out of contract, the Iceland player has expressed interest in a move to Rangers or Wolves. Sol Campbell - Talk of a three-year deal with Swiss side Basle could be attractive to the 34-year-old, whose contract is also up. A good chance for Pompey to rebuild from the back? Djimi Traore - Out of contract and 'keen' to sign for Birmingham City, so let him go. Sean Davis - Bolton are said to be interested in the midfielder again after failing to land him in January and he's another one out of contract. Lauren - The Cameroon player's deal ends in the summer and he's made just one appearance this season. Bye, bye. Arnold Mvuemba - Has a year left with Pompey but they should off-load him if they can. Glen Little - Joined former club Reading on loan this season and his future at Portsmouth looks bleak. Jerome Thomas - Only signed a year-long contract and his season has been ruined by injury.
